Health information

As a youth drug and alcohol prevention and health promotion service, Youth Solutions strives to provide young people, and the wider community, with information, support and programs to improve their health, wellbeing and resilience and to prevent them from drug and alcohol related harm.

This section of the Youth Solutions website aims to provide links to general health information and websites which may be of use to young people, their parents or carers and all those who directly engage with young people.

Drug Information

Check out the Drug Information section of our website for information about drugs, their effects and where to turn to for support.

If you suspect an overdose call triple zero (000) immediately.

In an emergency or crisis situation always call triple zero (000) for police, fire and ambulance and follow instructions.

Illegal drugs, and the misuse of legal drugs, can effect an individual, their families and friends and the community in a number of ways.

If you are concerned about your own or another person’s drug use we encourage you to seek professional help and assistance.

There are always risks associated with drug use. No use at all is the safest option.

Can’t find what you are looking for or need more information?

Please contact the Youth Solutions team on 02 4628 2319 or visit our contact page for further details on how to get in touch.
