Dunlea Alcohol and Other Drugs Youth Service (13 – 19)

Helps young people aged 13-19 who want to take control of their drug use. They offer the Taking Charge program, an 8-12 week drug and alcohol treatment program that runs Monday to Thursday from 10.30am-3.00pm. They also offer family support.

Jarrah House runs two residential rehabilitation and detox programs and an aftercare support program. Women may bring their children with them.

Provides a 6 month residential rehabilitation program for women aged 21 years and over. Children aged 12 years and under may live with their mothers. Also provides transition and after care services.

The Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District Drug and Alcohol Service offers free, non-judgemental services and treatments for drug and/or alcohol use, including information and support for families. Services include: Inpatient Withdrawal (Detoxification), specialist medical clinics, opioid treatment program, a specialist youth team, counselling and psychology services, court diversion programs, health promotion and education, social work and more.

Odyssey House provides has a range of facilities and services including residential rehabilitation, progressive learning centre, assessment and referral centre, withdrawal unit (detox), parents and children’s programs and after care program.

Program for Adolescent Life Management (PALM) – Sydney (13 – 17 yrs)

PALM is a residential treatment program for young people (aged 13 – 17) to address serious drug and alcohol related difficulties. The three month program provides a holistic, intensive, multi-disciplinary, residential treatment program staffed by professionals specifically trained in working through trauma, challenging behaviours and complex needs. The program offers counselling, family support, group work, vocational/educational modules, living skills and recreational activities.

Non- residential alcohol and other drugs rehabilitation program for people seeking treatment for alcohol and other drug dependance or misuse. It includes four stages: Entry, Core Program, Transition and After Care.

Provides free voluntary residential alcohol and other drugs rehabilitation and aftercare for young people aged 16 – 24 years. Average stay is 3 months with 6 months aftercare. Specialising in treating clients with co-morbid substance dependence and mental illness. NRT and education and training courses also available.
