AOD Link

AOD Link is Youth Solutions’ sector training and capacity building program.

Through the AOD Link program, Youth Solutions delivers relevant presentations and activities to community sector workers, educators, parents and carers.

AOD Link aims to develop the knowledge and skills of workers, educators, parents and carers, in order to better support their young people, and/or clients.

AOD Link presentations are generally planned and conducted at the Youth Solutions office, but can also be organised for external groups.

Presentation topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Young people and substance use
  • Discussing drugs and alcohol with young people
  • Substance use – resources for workers when working with young people and their families
  • Specific drugs issues of concern, such as those relating to: tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, amphetamines, ice, performance enhancing drugs, new psychoactive substances or the misuse of pharmaceutical drugs
