Link2Home is a free 24 hour telephone information and referral line.

The service exists to assist homeless people and those at risk of homelessness and provide information, assessment and referrals to homelessness services across NSW.

Link2Home is the main referral point in NSW for all people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

The services are available to people living in the Wollondilly and Wingecarribee Shires. The Southern Highlands Homeless Service incorporates:

  • Bowral Youth Refuge – Provides crisis accommodation and support for young people aged 14-18 years old. Bowral Youth Refuge has 6 beds available, 3 for young women and 3 for young men;
  • Pathways Mobile Casework Team – Provides support to people of all ages who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of experiencing homelessness through holistic casework, transitional housing and advocacy;
  • Adolescent and Family Counsellor – Counsellors work closely with adolescents and families at risk by working to re-establish relationships, and where possible keep young people in the family home.

For young people 12-24 years in crises, experiencing homelessness or dealing with drug and alcohol issues.

Provides casework, information and referral, drop-in, brokerage, kitchen and bathroom.

Doorways for Men With Families is the new transitional accommodation and homelessness service for fathers aged 20 years or older, with children aged under 18 years.

Supports young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness by providing outreach support, safe crisis and transitional accommodation and support services, from Fairfield to Wingecarribee.

Prioritises young people aged 12 – 18 years, but will not exclude those aged 18 – 25 years.
