Youth Solutions Charity Golf Day 2025
Take the afternoon off and hit the fairways this November, in the name of a good cause, at the Youth Solutions’ Annual Charity Golf Day.
Hosted in partnership with the Rise Above Macarthur United Foundation, the annual event on Friday 7 November will raise clubs and funds in support of Youth Solutions’ wellbeing, health promotion and drug and alcohol harm prevention programs for local young people in Macarthur and Wingecarribee.
The Youth Solutions team and Rise Above Macarthur United Foundation invite you to spend the afternoon playing nine rounds of golf and support the lives and wellbeing of local young people.
Youth Solutions Chief Executive Officer, Geraldine Dean, invited the community to pick up a putter for a great day out in support of their great cause.
“Events like the Charity Golf Day are vital to Youth Solutions to help fund our programs and services,” Mrs Dean said. “Young people face so many challenges in life, and our workshops and programs aim to educate and empower them to make informed decisions, particularly pertaining to health, wellbeing and drugs and alcohol. We want to see young people reach their full potential.”
“As our population continues to grow, the demand for our services exponentially increases. Youth Solutions works in the community, for the community, and we need community support to be able to make a difference in the lives of our young people.”
Since event partners Rise Above Macarthur United Foundation came on board in 2023, the Charity Golf Day has gone from strength to strength.
Mrs Dean thanked Joshua and Jessica Cotter and Jake and Kara Alchin, from the Rise Above Macarthur United Foundation, for again partnering with Youth Solutions to put on the 2025 Charity Golf Day. “We’re grateful to have them on board again – they believe in the work we do and share our passion for supporting community, so it’s lovely to be working on this event again together,” Mrs Dean said.
Mrs Dean also thanked the hole sponsors, prize donors and players who had already signed up for the day. “Youth Solutions’ work is a team effort, and we have a mighty team of community supporters behind us. We still have spots available, so get in quickly if you’d like to put in a team, sponsor a hole or donate a prize in support of this exciting and meaningful event,” she said.
Mr Cotter and Mr Alchin shared similar sentiments as to why the Charity Golf Day was important to the Rise Above Macarthur United Foundation and why they were committed to supporting it.
“Being a host partner to the Youth Solutions fundraiser is a perfect fit for our Foundation’s mission to care for and support of people in our community,” Mr Cotter said.
Mr Alchin added: “We want to be a part of an event that supports young people and makes a difference in their lives.”
2025 Youth Solutions Annual Charity Golf Day Packages & Details:
In the past financial year alone, Youth Solutions delivered programs and services across Macarthur and Wingecarribee, with a focus on developing skills, knowledge and connections to support for local young people and their supporters. Creating impact is key to the service’s ethos, with 96% of its youth program participants learning how to keep themselves and others safer around drugs and alcohol, 95% increasing their confidence to access help and support services and 96% increasing their confidence to respond to an emergency.
