Youth Solutions thanks outgoing Board Member Damon May of MayTek IT Solutions
The ability of Youth Solutions deliver great things with a small team and small budget has been something that has always impressed Damon May.
The man behind MayTek IT Solutions, together with his wife Cassandra, have been long term Youth Solutions supporters. This month, Damon is wrapping up his tenure on the volunteer Youth Solutions Board; a position he has held and excelled in for 12 years.
Vowing to remain a Youth Solutions supporter and part of the YS family, Damon encourage others in the community to support the worthy cause of local charity.
“Quite simply, they do great work in the community,” Mr May said.
“I’ve always been impressed seeing the goals set and achieved well within time frames. The ability of Youth Solutions to deliver on a relatively small budget, with small staff numbers, has always impressed me. They really bat above.”
Youth Solutions Chief Executive Officer Geraldine Dean thanked Mr May for his ongoing support of Youth Solutions and his contribution via the Board.
“On behalf of the rest of the Board and the Youth Solutions team, we’d really like to express our gratitude to Damon for his incredible volunteer contribution via the Board. Damon has always been an involved and invested Board Member and has made an invaluable contribution to our service via his involvement. We also look forward to keeping Damon and his family as part of the Youth Solutions family for many years to come,” Mrs Dean said.
In addition to his role as Board Member, Mr May has also supported Youth Solutions via fundraising and event sponsorship and support, while his family members have also held volunteer positions within the organisation.
