McDonald’s in Macarthur Charity Fun Night to support Youth Solutions
McDonald’s in Macarthur has again stepped up to the plate for the community and will host a Charity Fun Night on Wednesday, 19 March 2025 to support the work of Youth Solutions.
A percentage of sales made at McDonald’s in Macarthur restaurants on the evening of 19 March 2025 will be donated to Youth Solutions, a youth charity focusing on drug and alcohol prevention and wellbeing.
When and where:
McDonald’s is one of the largest employers of young people in the Macarthur region with an emphasis on opportunities, training and career progression. But McDonald’s local licensee Peter Meadows also has long been a champion of supporting youth beyond the workplace.
“We share similar values as Youth Solutions around contributing to our local community, doing what we can to ensure the wellbeing of our young people and providing opportunities for them to flourish and shine,” Mr Meadows said.
“McDonald’s in Macarthur welcomes the chance to support Youth Solutions one again in the work they do because, in the long-term, we all benefit. Our Charity Fun Night is a proactive and positive way to show our commitment to our community and its young people.”
Youth Solutions CEO Geraldine Dean thanked McDonald’s in Macarthur for again naming Youth Solutions as a Charity Fun Night recipient.
“That support from McDonald’s in Macarthur is vital to Youth Solutions and ensuring we can continue to deliver our drug and alcohol prevention and support services for young people,” Mrs Dean said. “Last year the Charity Fun Night raised $5386 for Youth Solutions, and that was immediately invested into our programs and services.”
“The Youth Solutions team is finding, as our community grows, that there is more and more demand for our services. The challenges facing young people never cease. But we are passionate and confident in our programs and their emphasis on skill-building, resilience and connection, which truly do make a difference.
“Support from organisations such as McDonald’s in Macarthur relieves the fundraising pressure and allows us to focus on working with young people. We are very appreciative and don’t take that support lightly or for granted.”
