McDonald’s in Macarthur’s Charity Fun Night to support Youth Solutions
McDonald’s in Macarthur has again extended its support of the region’s young people by hosting a Charity Fun Night to raise funds to support the work of local youth charity, Youth Solutions.
As a major employer of young people locally, McDonald’s in Macarthur and local licensee Peter Meadows have long championed youth with work opportunities and career progression. With a holistic approach to supporting young people and the community, McDonald’s in Macarthur has again renewed its partnership with Youth Solutions, naming the youth charity as its Charity Fun Night recipient for Wednesday, 13 March 2024.
A percentage of sales made at McDonald’s in Macarthur restaurants on the evening of will be donated to Youth Solutions to assist in the education and support of young people around drugs, alcohol and related wellbeing issues.

Youth Solutions Chief Executive Officer Geraldine Dean thanked McDonald’s in Macarthur for its ongoing support and noted the funds raised would make a great difference to the charity’s drug and alcohol harm prevention work.
“The partnership between McDonald’s in Macarthur and Youth Solutions highlights the amazing things we can achieve in a community when we work together,” Mrs Dean said. “As local organisations, we have a responsibility to look after our young people. We thank and applaud McDonald’s in Macarthur for stepping up and backing Youth Solutions and assisting us to deliver our drug and alcohol prevention programs. Every little bit makes a big difference.”
Local licensee Peter Meadows encouraged the community to support the Charity Fun Night on Wednesday, 13 March 2024.
“Community is important to McDonald’s in Macarthur,” Mr Meadows said. “We share similar values with Youth Solutions around taking care of our young people and contributing positively to the community. We commend Youth Solutions and its work with young people in the local area. We hope our Charity Fun Night emphasises our commitment and belief in their work, providing young people with brighter futures.”
