McDonald’s in Macarthur serves up a mighty donation for Youth Solutions
A McDonald’s in Macarthur Charity Fun Night has proved to be a fundraising knockout, serving up a much appreciated $6062.63 donation for local youth charity, Youth Solutions.
The youth service, which works in the Macarthur and Wingecarribee areas, was the designated McDonald’s in Macarthur recipient of a Charity Fun Night on Wednesday, 19 March.
During the evening, a percentage of sales from 17 local restaurants were donated to Youth Solutions to assist with its drug and alcohol prevention and education programs across the regions.
Youth Solutions CEO Geraldine Dean said the charity was humbled by the generosity of McDonald’s in Macarthur and the community.
“We appreciate the support of McDonald’s in Macarthur – our relationship is long-standing and built on a shared vision to support young people and assist them to become happy, safe, well-connected and prevented from drug and alcohol harm,” Mrs Dean said.
“It’s heartening to know organisations such as McDonald’s in Macarthur are in our corner supporting our work in any way they can.”
Mrs Dean also thanked the community for once again supporting Youth Solutions through the Charity Fun Night initiative.
“We know having dinner out during a weeknight isn’t an option for everyone, but we certainly appreciate those that did make that choice because they knew it was supporting Youth Solutions. Thank you very much.”
Local licensee Peter Meadows said McDonald’s in Macarthur was proud of the success of the 2025 Charity Fun Night result.
“Our Charity Fun Nights are designed to support the community, and we are proud we can help local young people in a meaningful way and make a difference in their lives,” Mr Meadows said.
The participating restaurants included Narellan Town Centre, Macarthur Square, Campbelltown, Minto, Glenquarie, Woodbine, Mt Annan, Eagle Vale, Narellan, Rosemeadow, Camden, Gregory Hills, Spring Farm, Emerald Hills, Oran Park, Ingleburn and Leppington Central.
