McDonald’s in Macarthur puts on a Charity Fun Night to support Youth Solutions

McDonald’s in Macarthur continues to put a spotlight on the Macarthur region and reminds that great rewards come when business and community groups work together.

McDonald’s in Macarthur & local licensee Peter Meadows has again selected Youth Solutions as its charity of choice for the 2022 Charity Fun Night on 23 March 2022.

On Wednesday from 3-5pm and 5-7pm, the Macarthur-Wingecarribee youth charity will receive 10 per cent of all food-court and drive-through sales respectively from the 16 McDonald’s in Macarthur stores in the Campbelltown and Camden areas.

Local licensee Peter Meadows said McDonald’s in Macarthur was a proud long-time supporter of the local community. He encouraged the community to enjoy a McDonald’s meal on the day which would go towards making a positive contribution to the lives of the Macarthur region’s young people.

“We’re really proud to be a part of the Macarthur community and we do everything we can to support it,” Mr Meadows said. “As one of the largest youth employers in the area it is important to provide support networks for the next generation.”

Youth Solutions CEO Geraldine Dean said “Youth Solutions had an enduring and valued partnership with Peter Meadows and the team behind McDonald’s in Macarthur, with both organisations focused on making a positive difference in the lives of young people.”

“The 2022 Charity Fun Night will allow Youth Solutions to raise awareness of the support services available to young people in the Macarthur region and help fund-raise to deliver additional programs for youth across the Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions,” Mrs Dean said.

“We sincerely appreciate the generosity of McDonald’s in Macarthur and thank them for being proactive in their support of young people in our community.”

Mr Meadows and Mrs Dean encouraged the community to visit McDonald’s in Macarthur restaurants across the Macarthur region between 3-5pm (food courts) and 5-7pm (drive-through) on Wednesday 23 March 2022.

A burger or fries will directly support Youth Solutions and the life-changing programs it offers to young people in the area.

The participating McDonald’s in Macarthur restaurants include: Narellan Town Centre, Macarthur Square, Campbelltown Mall (food courts), Campbelltown, Minto, Glenquarie, Woodbine, Mt Annan, Eagle Vale, Narellan, Rosemeadow, Camden, Gregory Hills, Oran Park, Spring Farm and Emerald Hills (drive-throughs).
