McDonald’s in Macarthur has again highlighted its community spirit by selecting Youth Solutions as its charity of choice for the 2021 Charity Fun Night on Wednesday, May 26.
From 3-5pm and 5-7pm on Wednesday, Youth Solutions will receive 10 per cent of all food-court and drive-thru sales respectively from the 15 McDonald’s stores in Campbelltown and Camden.
To kick start the evenings fundraising, McDonald’s in Macarthur has committed an initial donation of $2,000 and encourages the community to enjoy a meal and make a positive contribution to the lives of Macarthur’s youth.
Owner/operator Peter Meadows said McDonald’s in Macarthur was proud to support the local community.
“We’re really proud to be a part of the Macarthur community and we do everything we can to support it,” Mr Meadows said. “As one of the largest youth employers in the area it is important to provide support networks for the next generation.”
Youth Solutions CEO Geraldine Dean said Youth Solutions had long-standing partnership with McDonald’s in Macarthur, with both organisations working to make a positive difference in the lives of young people.
“The 2021 Charity Fun Night will allow us to raise awareness of the support services available to the young people of Macarthur and help raise much-needed funds to deliver additional programs across the Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions,” Mrs Dean said.
“We look forward to continuing to work with McDonald’s in Macarthur and making a difference in the community.”
Mr Meadows and Mrs Dean encourage the community to “grab a burger” between 3-5pm (food courts) and 5-7pm (drive-thru) on Wednesday, May 26 and support Youth Solutions and the life-changing programs it offers to young people in the area.
The participating McDonald’s include: Narellan Town Centre, Macarthur Square, Campbelltown Mall (food courts), Campbelltown, Minto, Glenquarie, Woodbine, Mt Annan, Eagle Vale, Narellan, Rosemeadow, Camden, Gregory Hills, Spring Farm and Emerald Hills (drive-throughs).
