Gas supplies company makes commitment to youth by supporting Youth Solutions
Local gas supplies company Supagas has forged a new partnership with Youth Solutions, contributing funds to support the youth charity’s drug and alcohol prevention, health education programs.
The Ingleburn-based business jumped on board to support the region’s young people, pledging funds for take-away resources for the participants of Youth Solutions’ prevention workshops. In addition to funding resources, the gas supplier has also pledged its sponsorship of the 2020 Youth Solutions Charity Event, to be held on Saturday, July 25 at The Cube, Campbelltown Catholic Club.
Youth Solutions Chief Executive Officer Geraldine Dean thanked Supagas for its generosity.
“We are very grateful for Supagas’ support, which will particularly help us to fund some fun items to distribute to young people in our workshops,” Mrs Dean said.
“Giving young people something to take away from our workshops really encourages them to remember the messaging behind the workshops, to focus on wellbeing and resilience and learn how to reduce drug and alcohol related harm. But most importantly, it’s a visual reminder that Youth Solutions is there for them if they ever need to reach out for help.”
