Youth Solutions High Tea raises $7,500 for youth drug & alcohol prevention programs
Youth Solutions celebrated a sweet start to 2021 with a sold-out high tea event at Rydges Campbelltown on Friday, 19 February.
Backed by support from the event sponsor, Marsdens Law Group, the annual Youth Solutions High Tea fundraiser, aptly named a ChariTEA – a “high tea experience for a cause” – was attended by almost over 90 supporters and raised over $7,500
The funds will support the delivery of Youth Solutions’ health education, health promotion, drug and alcohol prevention programs for young people across the Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions.
Supporters indulged in an afternoon of and savoury treats accompanied, of course, by a cup of tea.
Talented Camden singer Leah Cassar treated the crowd with her melodies and she set the tone for an entertaining afternoon. Sandra Bartlett, of Stairway 2 Dreams, capped off the event with an inspirational talk that left the room buzzing with motivation.
Youth Solutions Chief Executive Officer Geraldine Dean thanked attendees and sponsors for guaranteeing the success of ChariTEA.
“This event and its success is vital to Youth Solutions,” Mrs Dean said. “The funds we raise are crucial to ensure we can continue delivering our youth drug and alcohol prevention and health promotion programs in the community.”

Hampers, as well as businesses and individuals who donated prizes and services for the event.
Thanks also go to the Rotary Club of Macarthur Sunrise which donated $500 to support ChariTEA.
Youth Solutions is a youth drug and alcohol prevention and health promotion charity working to help young people to be healthy, safe and connected.
All funds raised from this event will be used to support Youth Solutions’ programs.
