ChariTEA fundraiser kicks off successful start to 2023

High tea celebration raises vital funds to support youth health programs

Young people in the Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions will benefit from the generosity of attendees at the recent Youth Solutions’ ChariTEA High Tea fundraiser.

The sold-out, annual event was held on Friday, 24 February at Rydges Campbelltown, raising an amazing $12,203, which will support the delivery of Youth Solutions’ health education, health promotion, and drug and alcohol prevention programs for young people across Macarthur and Wingecarribee.

Youth Solutions’ drug, alcohol and wellbeing strategies focus on learning, participation and support and fundraising is crucial to Youth Solutions’ ability to research, produce, tailor and deliver targeted and appropriate programs, outreach and campaigns.

The charity’s long-term objective is to see a community of healthy, safe and connected young people. Youth Solutions’ CEO Geraldine Dean expressed her gratitude to the many supporters and sponsors of the 2023 ChariTEA, for helping the charity work towards that vision.

“To everyone who supported this event, we can’t thank you enough. You have all have put in a champion effort and, once again, the event has exceeded expectation.,” Mrs Dean said. “A special thank you to our Event Sponsor, Marsdens Law Group, for their incredible contribution for the fourth-consecutive year, as well as all of our table sponsors.”

“All the funds raised will go directly into Youth Solutions’ programs, which are focused on supporting our young people safely navigate the challenges of alcohol and other drugs.”

“Your belief in Youth Solutions’ work and, of course, your much-appreciated financial support enables us to deliver our programs. Together, we are a community and we can make a difference in the lives of our young people,” Mrs Dean added.

ChariTEA guests were entertained Camden singer Leah Cassar, from Leah Cassar Voice Production. Guests also enjoyed a showcase of stylish fashions from Symphony’s on Argyle, Camden, modelled by Youth Solutions’ own fashionistas.
