Packed house enjoys annual high tea for a cause event at Campbelltown Catholic Club
A full room of supporters gave Youth Solutions’ annual high tea experience held on Friday, February 21 at Campbelltown Catholic Club an enthusiastic thumbs-up.
The event, described as “a high tea experience for a cause”, raised a very generous $8800, which will support the delivery of Youth Solutions’ health education, health promotion, drug and alcohol prevention programs with young people across the Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions.
Supporters indulged in an afternoon of bubbles, sweet and savoury treats and topped off with a cup of coffee or tea.
Camden singer Leah Cassar set the tone for an afternoon of fun and entertainment before Symphony’s on Argyle presented a fashion parade of casual and formal wear.
Youth Solutions chief executive officer Geraldine Dean thanked everyone who contributed to the success of ChariTEA.
“This event, and its success, are vital to Youth Solutions, because the funds are crucial to ensure we can continue delivering our youth drug and alcohol prevention and health promotion programs in the community,” she said.
“I’d like to thank everyone for supporting ChariTEA. You are guaranteeing our youths have a brighter future.”
Youth Solutions acknowledges the support of event sponsor Marsdens Law Group, table sponsors Campbelltown Catholic Club, CharBella Cakes, Macarthur Sunrise Rotary and Wests Group Macarthur, as well as businesses and individuals who donated prizes for the event.
