Youth Solutions tees off on new partnership for sell-out Charity Golf Day
Proving the grass is always greener when you work together, Youth Solutions has partnered up with Rise Above Foundation and Macarthur United Realty to help its 2023 Charity Golf Day hit new heights.
Youth Solutions, a local youth drug and alcohol prevention and health promotion charity, is prepping for tee-off on Friday 3 November at Campbelltown Golf Club, alongside its new event host partners. All funds raised from the day will be invested back into the charity’s pivotal drug and alcohol education and wellbeing programs that support local young people across Macarthur & Wingecarribee.
With the heightened level of commitment behind the 2023 Charity Golf Day, we’re proud to announce team packaged have already sold out, with just a handful of hole sponsorships remaining.

Youth Solutions Chief Executive Officer Geraldine Dean praised the support the event has received from the community and in particular, its new host partners.
“We are so proud and grateful to be working with Rise Above Foundation and Macarthur United Realty to elevate the success of this event,” Mrs Dean said. “It’s no secret that as a charity, Youth Solutions relies heavily on the support of the community to continue our impactful work with local young people. So, it is incredibly heartening when other organisations and people in the community recognise the value of our programs and campaigns and put their hand up to assist us.”
Rise Above Foundation, founded by Campbelltown Councillor Josh Cotter and his wife Jessica Cotter, is a community foundation committed to assisting families, charities and community groups. “We’re long-standing Youth Solutions supporters, because we believe in the work they do in the community,” Cr Cotter said. “My wife and I also have a passion for supporting our community, so becoming a host partner to help drive success for Youth Solutions’ Charity Golf Day was a natural fit for us and something we knew we had to get behind.”
Leading realtor Macarthur United Realty’s charter is to provide clients with the best and most memorable service possible, by going “above and beyond” – a mantra they apply to all areas of their work in the community. “We’re really proud to be able to make a difference and support Youth Solutions to get the most out of its Golf Day,” Managing Director Jake Alchin said, “Supporting the community is engrained in all that we do, so when this opportunity arose to support such a great, local charity, we were quick to commit.”
Youth Solutions Manager Marketing & Engagement Amanda Dillon, who is coordinating the event, said having the new host partners working alongside the team and Fundraising Committee has already boosted the success of this event, even before players even take to the green.
“We’re really lucky to have some incredibly passionate people backing our events, driving their success and getting behind our cause – from our volunteers, our Golf Day sponsors and attendees and of course, our new host partners,” Mrs Dillon said. “The 2024 is set to be our biggest and best yet – we’ve doubled the size of the competition, we’re got a fun day planned and it’s all for a great cause. We’d like to thank everyone who is involved in bringing this event together – we look forward to seeing you all on the green.”
